My name is Neil Coshever. I will be your host for this forum and will be happy to answer your comments questions or discuss all aspects of the Orion Jewelry Welders. I have been making jewelry for the last 37yrs, specializing in hand fabrication, precision casting, and stone cutting and setting techniques. I, as many jewelers, have had a laser welder on my wish list but the price was much too high to justify the expenditure and needs unless I was a repair bench man who had an endless supply of jobs that would warrant the need of a laser welder. Until now I have not seen a welder that can do and do more than a laser welder at a tenth of the price. I am happy to say I own and use the Orion Jewelry Welder. The welder welds 14k 18k white or yellow golds, platinum, silver and dissimilar metals, like stainless and copper.
